Lofty Goals update!
If you follow along, you know the house we bought had not been finished. It was an abandoned build. One of the projects we were not looking forward to was finishing the loft and foyer ceiling which had been left in various stages of framing and insulation and the mechanical rough-ins were not complete. We put up the first section of scaffolding right before Christmas 2018. Today is January 7th of 2020. We finally have the ceiling furred down, double insulated, most of the electric and HVAC runs completed that go across the vaulted ceilings. We just have to fabricate and install faux beams to conceal the HVAC runs, hang the ceiling fans and the big light fixture and the scaffolding can come down!
For those of you asking for photos - here are a few!
