It's been a while since I've blogged. I think I was kind of stuck.  Stuck in the in-between still living at the old house, packing and sorting through 39 years of stuff and wanting so much to be getting settled into life on the new homestead. It felt so close and yet still so far away.  Patience is such a virtue, unfortunately not one of mine! But... that is all changing soon (probably not the patience part) but our circumstance!  

We have finally set a date for the big move, the week of August 22nd!  I'm sure it won't be completed within a week, those of you who know us would be shocked if we pulled off this big move in a week, but it's a huge turning point for us.  We are totally committed and there is no turning back. And that's a good thing.  I think...we think.  

Pray for this adventure as it takes on a life of its own.  Pray for our energy levels to stay engaged at full throttle, not easy for us at this stage of life we're learning.  We still need to list and sell the old house, prayers appreciated for a smooth transition there.  We will also be moving both of our moms with us. My mom right away, his mom to follow in a few months.  Pray for safety in the journey and that no matter what the future holds, that we will faithfully follow His plan and will for our lives.
