Today I ordered a
Yimbly Dual Chamber Compost tumbler from Amazon. I have been saving all of my organic kitchen scraps all winter and I'd like to get them turned into rich compost quicker than the old-fashioned way by letting nature takes its course, so when my husband offered to let me buy some more plates for my dinnerware collection today, I asked if I could get a compost maker instead. Yeah, I have really taken this homesteading thing to heart. While I am still hoping for more plates someday, it just seems like a bumper crop of healthy organic fruits and vegetables to serve on those plates should come first. Am I right? Makes perfect sense to me. Otherwise, it's kind of like putting the cart before the horse so to speak. So for now, new plates can wait for another season. I have new composter coming soon!
